TRAINING FOR TRAVEL DAYS
These are training days being run in conjunction with the Sweetlamb Adventure Academy in Mid Wales, providers of training for Ducati and previously KTM. I've put these days on for people going off on a tour that might involve some trails or some gravel back tracks and back roads. Maybe Morocco, maybe the Alps or the Indian Himalayas, or any of the ACT or TET. They're aimed at the novice, intending to build confidence and an essential skill set that should enable riders to get the best from their bikes and from the trip.
These are one day courses, on your own bike, with small group tuition from qualified off road instructors; a team I've worked with for the past 7 years for various events, such as Himalayan Hoedown. There are four dates to choose from throughout the year.
The facility is fantastic. Wide open trails, perfect for building confidence, with lots of variety of terrain to build skills. You will need an 'adventure' bike with trail tyres and full protective clothing including full length boots.
The days run from 9am to 5pm and include lunch. There is option to stay at the onsite bunkhouse the night before with dinner and breakfast for £55.
To book, please use the link below and if you would like the bunkhouse and dinner option please message me separately using the contact form at the bottom of the page, stating any dietary requirements.
