If you want an easy going road tour that takes a gentle meander through France and down through Spain then this tour is from you.
After crossing from Plymouth to Roscoff on the overnight ferry, we'll make our way down through Brittany towards La Rochelle. From there we'll head inland to the abandoned town of Oradour-sur-Glane, where SS troops murdered 642 souls back in 1944. A place to reflect before pushing onto the magnificent Millau Viaduct, riding over it, or underneath it if you prefer, as we descend on Spain for our loop around to Santander for the ferry hope.
We'll cross the Pyrenees, riding the incredible N260 through magnificent mountain roads, flattening out as we head west, taking in Sad Hill Cemetery; the movie set from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. We'll finish off with a meander through the Picos and out to the ferry. Eight incredible days of riding and scenery. Total mileage around 1450.
