To the foot of Morocco on the search
of the lost tomb of Amtoudi!

Embark on this epic adventure in search of the lost tomb of Amtoudi, a

remote oasis nestled in the Anti-Atlas Mountains, deep in the south

of Morocco.

To give us best chance of completing our mission in a two week

holiday window, we're freighting bikes down from the UK to Malaga in

Spain. We'll fly into meet them and from there cross the Med into

Morocco, beginning our long voyage south, crossing mountains and

deserts as we draw near to this remote Berber village, high in the

mountains.

It's an excuse for an adventure really, taking mainly Tarmac roads but
maybe a little bit of dirt along the way if you fancy it. We'll see the
popular highlights such as the blue city of Chefchaouen, the fabled Tizi

n'Tichka pass and maybe a night in Casablanca.

This is for people on all bikes, to enjoy the scenery, to ride manageagle

days and stay in hotels and local Bedouin tents. Travel light, ride your

own ride if you prefer as a full route book and GPX will be provided.

This helps to spread the pack and allows people to steady themselves, to build some confidence so by the time we  arrive back in Malaga, true travel warriors will have been born, ready to conquer the world!

The plan is still developing, but the mechanics are all in place. Bikes dropped off a week before at the depot of Shippio in Glouucester, a company I've long since used and trusted, who will load machines and luggage in stillages, ready for the long drive down to Malaga. Riders will fly in the following week (flights not included), have a night in Malaga, collect the bikes and then off we go, heading for Morocco.

Price includes shipment both ways, all documentation required including Carnet de Passage, plus all accommodation in Spain and Morocco.

Unfortunately, there isn't option (or at least a reduced price option) to ride down and join us in Malaga as a certain number is needed to make the freight costs work. But the idea with this one is that it allows the rider with the limited time window to see the best of Morocco, and to do it without massive haste, riding manageable 160-180 mile days, on smaller capacity adventure and trail bikes if they want to; bikes that might be a slog on a long rushed ride down through Spain and back. This bypasses that journey, not to mention the overnight ferry to Santander, pitting you fresh and ready for the ultimate adventure in Morocco.

More detailed plans of the route to follow, but for now, if you'd like to put your name down on the list, please use the box at the bottom to message in, tell me a bit about you and your riding, what you ride and I'll get you booked in, with a £250 deposit to secure.

All the best.
